Tea and Tutoring Session.

What a success these were last year! So we are offering tea and tutoring once again.  These will be two hour sessions with tea provided for our Year 6 pupils. A letter giving full details will follow.

Swimming. ½ of Year 5 and small groups of Year 1 will begin their swimming sessions.

You will be notified if your child is swimming during this block. Please note there will be on swimming on 17th May and 7th June

Teaching and Learning Conferences.

EYFS (New parent chats) Mrs Shipman.

A chance for parents to meet with their child and class teachers to discuss progress, learning stepping stones and what home and school can do to support them in achieving their year expectations. Parents and carers will be able to sign up at the classroom door for an appointment. If you have work commitments please ring school and we will gladly allocate a time slot for you.

Y6 SAT’s Week Please note it is essential that all Year 6 pupils attend this week.

While our Y6 children are doing their SAT’s, the rest of the school will take part in field trips. Which this year will focus on experiencing diversity!

After School Clubs to start.

We will try our very best to ensure all children get a place at their chosen club or are placed on the waiting list.

25.05.18 Sports Day. This will be a whole day event with potted sports in the morning, followed by a buffet lunch to which parents are invited. Competitive races will take place in the afternoon on the sports field. Do join us; everyone who attended last year really enjoyed the day.

This will be an opportunity for your child to specialise in a subject and graduate with top marks.

Today at school we will be exploring the world of work, inviting visitors from different industries and thinking about our aspirations for the future.

Parents and carers please note your children will need to be collected from Hall Park Academy on this day.

EYFS Performance and Graduation. Cap and gowns will be provided for the graduation ceremony. Starting at 10:30am Please arrive for 10:15am in the school hall.

Photographs will take place in the unit after the event.

15.07.18- 19.07.18 Hathersage Residential Trip. We will once again be going on our residential trip to Hathersage. Letters will be sent out with full details in the autumn term.  We can’t wait!

Whole School Outdoor Adventure and Design Week.

While the children are enjoying the residential trip to Hathersage the rest of the school will be taking part in a range of activities such as orienteering and den building for their outside learning and planned D.T projects within class.

Attendance trips will take place for children that have achieved 100% attendance for the whole school year.

EYFS, Year 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 will go on a shopping trip to Morrisons.

Year 5 will be going to a luxurious day out in September 2018

Year 6 will have the chance to spend online and choose a gift of their choice. Please remember 100% attendance includes attending school on this day.
